Dynamic Data in Webpages

This tutorial assumes firstly that you have a SQL Server database and secondly that you have created a Data Access Layer (DAL) by way of a strongly-typed Data Set with Table Adapters. Earlier tutorials demonstrate how to create the database and setup the DAL.

In this series you will establish web pages that interrogate the database for information and will allow users to add, edit and delete records within it.

Before attempting this tutorial you should have an 'ASP.NET Web Application' created in Visual Studio with 'Individual User Accounts' selected to generate a template database (tutorial found under 'Databases in Visual Studio', named 'Option 2: Template Users DB'.)

The worked throughout assumes you have also followed the tutorials in both 'Databases in Visual Studio' and 'Database Connections'.
